How to become a doctor. All you need to know

 In India, one must earn a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in order to become a doctor. A typical completion time of 5.5 years includes an internship year. To be eligible for medical practice, one must pass the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) after earning the MBBS degree. To obtain a medical license, one must also register with either the state medical council or the Medical Council of India (MCI). After this, you can either work as a doctor in India or go to medical school to study a specific area of medicine.
